I have an Ademco honeywell 6270 keypad on my vista 15p alarm system. Whats the difference in the 6270 and 6271C keypad? Will the instructions for pragramming the 6271c apply to programming the honeywell 6270?

The Honeywell 6271C is the same as the Honeywell 6270 but it has a color display instead of black and white. There may be a few more small differences but for the most part the programming and installation instructions are the same. There is also a Honeywell 6271CV which is the same as the 6271C but it also has voice annuciation built in and announces the system status and other details.
